I Make Drawings and Illustrations
I have been painting since I was four years old. I have many years of experience in academic drawing, and after a few years of working as an independent artist, I created my own style of watercolor painting based on pointillism. This style formed the basis of the book for kids that I created, and also of some of my commercial and design projects.
I learn coding and cloud technologies
As a UX designer, I've recognized the importance of bridging the gap between design and development to create seamless user experiences. I've proactively embarked on a journey to learn coding and cloud technologies to enhance collaboration and communication with developers. By acquiring this technical knowledge, I aim to speak the language of developers fluently, enabling smoother integration of design solutions into the final product. This initiative reflects my commitment to fostering cross-functional teamwork and delivering innovative solutions aligning with user needs and technical requirements.
I also make sketches for design ideas
I can't turn my every idea into a project but I try to write everything down and make some sketches to come back to it later or maybe inspire someone.
NextGen Watches
After experiencing the new NextGen Game PS5 Console and Apple Watch I was thinking a lot about mixing new features of the controller and watches.
Lots of smartwatches have this nice integration with map apps - showing small pieces of the direction and vibrating when you need to turn/stop/reached your destination. But I couldn’t imagine before I tried PS% controller how much different vibrations may say.
I know that the Apple watch uses many types of vibrations so I think in the future they may go further and build a completely new experience - use vibration to show direction, tell that you need to slow down and stop before crossing the road. It could also help people with disabilities who now use voice assistants - they could work together with vibration.
New ATM Experience
Lots of people have a story about some painful ATM experience: clients lose their cards and money, sometimes there’s no enough money for withdrawal, the interface is very unclear and there’re even different types of ATMs with different functionality and they have several similar functions with ATMs.
So why there’s no integration between bank mobile applications/website personal accounts and ATMs? Many apps provide chat with the support team, customizable interface, access to phone features, etc. Instead of searching for desired functionality for minutes, we could create a pre-order system for ATMs e.g. reserve money for withdrawal or request documents for printing and then just come to ATM, use special code/insert card/Smartphone NFC and get a withdrawal or printed papers.
Face Recognition Improvement
I love that my phone doesn’t ask me to type any passcodes to unblock it. But Face ID doesn’t work properly all the time. I can wear glasses or different haircuts, masks, or anything else - it stops recognizing me.
There's a new feature allowing me to unlock my phone with watches if I wear a mask;
It would be great if there were any checkboxes allowing me to tell if there’s anything that may be an obstacle for face recognition (e.g. "I may wear glasses or sunglasses").
And or I could upload a few photos of me wearing e.g. glasses or just tell that I may wear glasses and use my watch for unlocking same as it happens with a mask.
